Reasonable, Respectful Representation

I’m thrilled to share that I am seeking election to East Gwillimbury Council. I have made EG and Holland Landing my home for over 20 years. I ran in 2018 and I’m stepping forward again because I believe in responsible growth, fairness and strong community representation. I look forward to listening and working together for EG’s future.

I want to thank Mayor Hackson, Councillors: Tara Roy-DiClemente,

Scott Crone, Loralea Carruthers, Terry Foster, Susan Lahey & Brian Johns for their service to our town of East Gwillimbury. Some have dedicated decades to the town and others were just getting started. I want to thank them all; it's not an easy task to run for public office. The time and sacrifices away from family is real and I am grateful for their service. To those leaving public life, I wish you well and to those that are giving it another go, good luck and we will see you around town.

June  2026

For 36 years, I have worked in the rail industry, on both freight and GO trains. For 17 of those years, I worked not only as a Conductor but also as the primary liaison between local employees and  management. In that role, I advocated for employee rights, implemented collective agreements, and handled workplace grievances — experience that strengthened my skills in communication and problem‑solving.

A Vision Built on Integrity and Progress

I have lived in Holland Landing for over 20 years, choosing the community as the place to raise my family. I ran for council in 2018 and I'm proud to do so again in 2026. I have long been committed to the town and its future. I have been involved in and around politics and public policy since the early 1980s, attending numerous policy conferences over the years. My lifelong engagement with public issues reflects a genuine interest in how decisions are made and how communities can grow responsibly.

In addition to my political engagement, my professional journey has provided me with deep insights into negotiation and advocacy. Throughout my tenure in various leadership roles, I have championed initiatives that prioritize sustainability without compromise. My commitment remains fixed: to serve Ward 1 with the same dedication.

When I'm not riding the rails or advocating for my fellow employees I can be found spending quality time with my family, exploring the back roads on my B.M.W or listening to everything from classic rock to Jazz , Soul or the Blues and of course Glass Tiger, if you know you know.
